Water-based gilding adhesive is used to apply imitation gold and silver leaf to properly prepared surfaces. Suitable for professional gilding, decorating, artistic and creative projects.
Clean, degrease and level the surface, and apply a compatible primer if needed. Spread the adhesive in a thin, even layer using a brush, roller or suitable applicator.
Apply the leaf when the adhesive reaches the correct tack. Waiting time varies with temperature, humidity, substrate and application thickness. Follow the packaging instructions and test on a small area before starting.
After application, smooth the leaf gently with a soft brush. A compatible protective finish may be applied according to the project requirements.
